Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey You. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Ti 2:22

Encourage my children to share each other’s problems and troubles. Help them keep each other on the right path being careful not to fall into the same temptations themselves. Give them Your wisdom so they can gently and humbly help others overcome sin. Gal 6:1-2

Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience.  Isa 40:1-2

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children … I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion … that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions.
