Teach my children to feel good, invincible, happy, and free. Show them that the short lived relief from pain that comes from sin will NEVER compare to the eternal power of the Holy Spirit available to them every second of every day. Reveal to me the areas of my life that I have become dependent on anything or anyone other than You. I will worship and serve only You, the Lord my God. Lk 4:8
Give my children a humble spirit that they may come before You and ask You to help their weakness of faith… so that You can begin transforming their heart and teaching them that all things are possible to those that believe. (Mark 9:23-24)
Show my children that the true church isn’t a building but Christ’s body. Help them see that they are a vital part of that body and lead them to take their place. Open their hearts to receive Christ so they may receive the benefits of His presence. Eph 1:22-23
Praying repetitive empty words blocks my children’s prayers from reaching You. May they talk to You from their hearts! Matthew 6:7-8
The power of sin is broken in my children’s lives. If they choose to receive it (by walking out their faith) then they get to live in the kingdom of God while on earth rather than the kingdom of Satan. Thank You that my children do not have to live in sickness, poverty, depression, controlled…
May my children’s ears be opened to the voice of reason. God will send wisdom through others, especially in the area of vengeance… and if my children withstand the urge to repay evil for evil… God will fight their battles and my children will see victory! 1Sa 25
May my children show and make obvious that they are letters from Christ delivered to the world by me… not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God… not on tablets of stone but on tablets of the human heart. 2 Co 3:3
