Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. Do not let my children’s hearts be troubled, distressed or agitated. Show them the Way, the Truth and the Life … give me the words to pray over them to help my children see You and know that You are the living God able to calm their hearts. John 14:1,6

Make Your way level and straight before my children. They are young and need Your guidance. Send me out before them as a might worker removing stones and breaking down obstructions with every prayer I utter and every act of obedience and service to You. Ps. 5:7-8

May my children live this day and every day with the knowledge that this could be our last day. May they turn to You in urgency about all matters and not weigh themselves down with their worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life. Lk 21:34

Lord, let me hear the sweet comfort of Your voice. Those moments when my mind becomes sharp, clear, focused and completely consumed by my connection to You. My children will benefit as I carry them along my path, teaching them to walk with You also, and then rejoicing as they recognize Your voice and follow…
