As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’ … following the Lord in obedience instead! Do not let my children develop an attitude of superiority. You created them to carry the burdens of others… and their load will require assistance, too. Let them receive the understanding and concept of teamwork and allow themselves to need help. The people You then place alongside them will take their breath away! 1Ki 10:20

May my children live this day and every day with the knowledge that this could be our last day. May they turn to You in urgency about all matters and not weigh themselves down with their worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life. Luke 21:34

Do not let my children value what is worthy by the measure of this world. They will not fear displeasing their peers and being left out of certain circles, rather, they will develop a wholesome dread of displeasing You. Is 8:12-13
