May my children find favor with the multitude of their brethren by seeking the welfare of others and speaking peace to all they encounter. Esther 10:3
When my children feel the favor, benefits, and opportunities that seem too good to be true, as if the stars have lined up and everything is too perfect … I pray they give You the glory. May they walk securely in Your favor in these moments and reject any feeling of discouragement, weariness or exhaustion….
To live obedient lives… my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and experiencing…
Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Thank You for loving me and sharing this wisdom with me this morning. Mt 24:43
My children always have the last word. May they learn to speak encouragement over themselves, tune out the naysayers and even their own self doubt will begin to disappear… replaced with a winning spirit! Isa 65:16 I confess a life controlled by the Spirit of God. I possess life and peace. Ro 8:6
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ahhh’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
