Let my children organize their time and follow through with their plans. In doing so, they won’t be consumed by the busyness of life and the frantic “catch-up” which steals their peace. Let my children think of ways to encourage one another (and the world) with outbursts of love and good deeds. Heb 10:24
Give my children perspective, not letting them become too attached to this world. Forget Disneyland and European vacations … give them visions of Heaven and the perfection that abounds there … for we are each on earth for only a while but those who repent and turn to God through Jesus Christ will spend eternity…
Help my children understand what it means to honor one another above themselves. Let them experience the unexpected joy of helping others and the unbelievable peace that comes when they stop believing that their way is the only way. Ro 12:10
Strengthen my children, encourage their faith, and keep them from being disturbed by the troubles they go through. 1Th 3:2-3
