May my children feel secure enough to approach You honestly with the secret struggles of their mind … for You promise to keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You!
Isaiah 26:3
May my children feel secure enough to approach You honestly with the secret struggles of their mind … for You promise to keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You!
Isaiah 26:3
My children give me hope and joy. They are my proud reward. Though sometimes separated, my heart will never leave them, and we will stand together before our Lord Jesus when He comes back again. 1Thessalonians 2:17-19
My children have a hope and a future. Help them to focus on that, not the past. Use their pain to show them how to help bring healing to others … that it is the broken who become masters at mending. Isaiah 43:18-19
You have planned out and made ready the good life for my children to live. Your Word does not promise a ‘bad life’ for my children … show them who they are living for when they make bad choices (the enemy) … and please help them stay on Your ‘good path’ so they may experience…
You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Pe 3:9, Isa 55:6
Celebrate with me as my children skid into bed each night… exhausted, scrapped up, used up and out of gas… fill them up so they can work for You tomorrow as triumphantly as they did today! I will rejoice as my children live fully until the day You call them home. Isa 40:29, Ps 118:24…
I pray my married children never mistreat their spouse… not only will they hurt the one they love… they will block the blessings from the ONE who loves them! 1Pt 3:7
