Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Thank You for loving me and sharing this wisdom with me this morning. Mt 24:43

My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is you, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank you for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Dt 31:6

My children’s greatest challenge will not be lack of opportunity… but being ready when it comes! Give them a heart of endurance to overcome all obstacles and stay their course, for I believe that you are working to accomplish great things with their lives. Teach my children that earthly prosperity is NOT the goal but the result! Help them understand that seeking Your will then following it is the goal… for they will become so filled with joy, peace, and love that prosperity will simply become a fringe benefit… the frosting on the cake… and every parent knows that…

My children will merrily traverse the path You have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed. In the midst of painful experiences when they feel rejection by their peers, let my children hear the thousands of angels in joyful assembly. Let my children come into your presence through acts obedience. Give them patience and kindness, the true expression of love for all people, especially those that hurt them. Hebrews 12:22, 12:25, 1Corinthians…
