Let my children think of ways to encourage one another (and the world) with outbursts of love and good deeds.

Let my children think of ways to encourage one another (and the world) with outbursts of love and good deeds.
Hebrews 10:24
May my children recognize who they are … clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless … as well as bless others. Isaiah 64:8
Guide my children along right paths. Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Cowardice asks: is it safe? Consensus asks: is it popular? Character asks: is it right?” Help my children do the right thing, especially when it costs them, when the wrong this is more expedient, or when no one is looking. Ps 23:3 I confess…
Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my children’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Th 3:12-13
Sins are to my children’s lives as weeds are to the garden. They are going to pop up but we must diligently be on the watch and eradicate them from our lives before they take over. If not, my children’s lives will not produce the fruit God intended where he planted their seeds. Romans 6:12
Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions. Show them it is what they already possess that You will use to fulfill Your purpose in their life. Give them the faith to see that what they are holding onto is…
Let my children recognize that the little rainbows in their lives (the small needs met at just the right time) are the signs that You care for them. I will watch for these moments in their lives also and together will worship You in gratitude and love. Ge 9:13-15
