Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children … I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion … that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Thank You for loving me and sharing this wisdom with me this morning….

Teach my children to live in Your will by giving them the resources they need minute by minute as they plunge into their unique adventures with You. The right provision at just the right moment will encourage them to stay on this awesome ride with You- fulfilling their purpose in the body of Christ!  Matthew 6:33 

Gift my children with your Holy Spirit, giving them vision, inspiring them with creative ideas, introducing them to the right people, and empowering them to do the job. Fill them completely with faith and the love of Jesus Christ. Have mercy on them because of their sin and use them as examples to other sinners…

Help my children grasp that Your promises apply only under covenant relationship. Let them understand that You never break Your promises… but if my children choose to break covenant with You by living in unrepentant disobedience… they have broken the covenant and ultimately their conduit in receiving Your promises. 1Ch 28:9

Show my children that their job is to obey Your commands and instructions and that Your job is to fight for them and clear the paths You’ve set before them … destroying all roadblocks that are keeping them from entering their place of blessing. Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Mt 5:8
