I pray my children hear You when You speak to them… through pastors, their Bibles, nature, songs, whispers, and sometimes my voice. You speak to them throughout the day gently nudging them in the direction of Your will… may they seek You and be aware of Your constant presence. Rev 2:29
Being filled with pride comes naturally. Give my children more heroes like David Robinson who give all glory to You! It is only when my children finally admit their victories are simply reflections of Your glory that they are supplied with the supernatural strength of a humble spirit. Humility is not a sign of weakness……
Show my children that the true church isn’t a building but Christ’s body. Help them see that they are a vital part of that body and lead them to take their place. Open their hearts to receive Christ so they may receive the benefits of His presence. Eph 1:22-23
Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my children’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Th 3:12-13
Change my children’s attitude. Help them understand that while on this earth, in order to receive victory in their battles and success in their endeavors, they must OBEY You. Focus my children. Reveal to them the purpose You have placed in their hearts so they don’t waste time and energy chasing someone else’s dream. Proverbs 4:27
