Thank you for allowing winds to come against my children. For it is in weathering their storms that they develop the strength and character necessary to succeed throughout their lives. (James 1:2-4)

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. Scripture is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God…

Somehow show my children (in a way that makes sense to them) that their job as Your child is to trust You… to be happy today even if they are in pain… For You have deprived it of power to harm them and have conquered it for them! Jn 16:33

Nothing blocks promise like prayers NOT prayed. In order to receive Your blessings my children must humble themselves and ask! Jas 4:2

Do not let my children become discouraged by their past mistakes. It’s over! Your word says that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Open my children’s hearts so your Spirit may pour into them and get to work. Ps 147:3

Give my children tunnel vision… help them see what You see. A lost friend doesn’t result in a life of loneliness; a bad grade doesn’t result in a life of poverty, and a pimple doesn’t mark them for a life of failure. May they walk by faith and not by sight, trusting You to “have…
