I pray your sword pierces my children’s souls so that the secret thoughts and purposes of their hearts may be brought out and disclosed… and if what they see is not pretty… I pray my children wake up, repent, and receive forgiveness. In doing so they will feel a spring in their step! Lk 2:35

You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Peter 3:9, Isaiah 55:6

My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is You, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank You for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Dt 31:6

Let my children experience sorrow and deep grief for the wrong things they have done. They will come to You and ask forgiveness, therefore entering Your kingdom by humbling themselves. Evil isn’t present in Your kingdom … may their hearts reside there while still on earth so they may experience Your peace, the peace that…

Teach my children the power of prayer. Show them that you rescue others because of our prayers and that many will give thanks to God when those prayers we have been diligently praying for them are answered. 2Co 1:11  

Our world offers powerful substitutes for needs that only God can meet. Show my children that it is their union with Christ that makes them complete. He is the only answer. Col 2:8-10
