Let the spirit of Christ grow strong in my children, for that is the assurance that they will share in His glory. May Christ’s mighty power mature in them so they can share His glory with others. Colossians 1:27

Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey You. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Timothy 2:22 

I pray my children hear You when You speak to them… through pastors, their Bibles, nature, songs, whispers, and sometimes my voice. You speak to them throughout the day gently nudging them in the direction of Your will… may they seek You and be aware of Your constant presence. Rev 2:29

Show my children that it is the condition of their heart revealed to You through their acts of obedience that define their worship as true or simply formalistic. Give my children a tender heart… may they feel Your pain in the presence of friends who have closed their ears to Your Word and chosen not to receive or obey Your promptings. May these experiences cause them to renew their faith in Your way. And I ask You to help my children understand that…

I pray my children’s lives become a conduit to bring Your love and purpose to fruition in the lives of those around them. Give me the wisdom to cleverly get Your Word into them until the day they begin to crave time alone with you… and that time will come! Isa 55:10-11
