Colossians 3:16
Strengthen my children, encourage their faith, and keep them from being disturbed by the troubles they go through. 1Th 3:2-3
I am here to serve You Lord, give my children the wisdom to follow me. Though my hands are shaky and my legs are tired I am committed to your straight path where Your strength resides. Hebrews 12:12
My children will not become dependent on earthly vices. They will see me live by every word and expression of God and know You are the path to a satisfactory life … not donuts or Red Bull. Luke 4:4
Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank You for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of Your Son! Col 1:11-13
Let my children savor the fruits of their own industry. Give them a spirit of independence so they taste the exquisite reward of freedom… then let them readily share the overflowing abundance of their hearts and their treasure… for when they truly love others my children will begin to see God’s hand working in…
Show my children the importance of accepting other Christians, even when they don’t agree with them. Help them see that each person is responsible to the Lord and by His power He will help them do as they should. For You, God, have accepted them! Romans 14:1,4
