Focus my children on solutions … not problems. Let them tackle their day with a happy heart, confidently knowing that You are in control. May my children dwell in love, to live it and walk it out, and not just love for You but love in action for those around them. For in doing so they place themselves in Your shelter and can weather any storm. Ps 91:1

Give my children the wisdom necessary to understand the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice. You teach us that sin has earthly consequences and You also teach us how to avoid the eternal consequences of our sin. Give my children the best view of reality so they may have the clearest priorities. They will understand You are worthy and order their existence around You. Teach me to do the same! Rev 8:6-11,19  

My children will acknowledge the personal corruptions present in their hearts and give those to You, but they will not use them as a crutch to justify their shortcomings. They will present their pure unblemished hearts before You by covering themselves with the blood of Jesus … and they will live free. Leviticus 2:12

Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Mt 5:8
