Lord, I pray my children put all doubts aside regarding the state of their salvation. They have asked You to be their Lord and Savior through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus … and their hearts are being transformed as they work to remove sin from their lives (however slowly … teenagers!) Once the doubt is gone, they will truly be free to live wholly for you …and become the effective people You made them to be while on this planet.

Give my children an overcoming spirit. Turn their weakness into strength so that they may develop the kind of faith that refuses to settle for anything less than God has promised. Hebrews 11:34
Give my children a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will be intrinsically motivated to obey Your commands. Let them experience the light free feeling that flows from doing the ‘right’ thing so that they crave more and truly begin to understand that obedience is not only the root of character but the foundation…
Show my children that they are Your masterpiece … that You created them anew in Christ Jesus so that they can do the good things You planned for them long ago. Ephesians 2:10
Give my children one voice. Show them how displeasing it is to You when they withhold their love for each other and squabble. Give them an attitude of Christ Jesus towards each other. Ro 15:5-6
When my children throw a pity-party for themselves, help them stop! Open their eyes to the immediate needs of others around them and let them find ways to help, prayers to pray and, above all … offer unconditional love. Psalms 25:16
My children have been given the authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and the physical and mental strength and ability over all the power that the enemy possess so that nothing shall in any way harm them. I pray they take it! Luke 10:19
