Oftentimes my children forget that God’s children aren’t just the people that seem nice or other Christians or the people that seem safe … but ALL the precious people God created. Let my children find ways to express Your love to the world around them … for You reside in every person walking the planet…

Help my children understand that it is impossible to go through life without problems. Keep them calm and courageous so they will see that the storms don’t control their destiny, You do. Php 1:29, Mk 6:50, Ac 27:25

When my children recognize they are worrying about something, prompt them to repent then turn to You in gratitude for what they already have … and prayer to strengthen and prepare them for the task at hand. Philippians 4:6

Help my children carry the burden of someone else today, taking time to listen to a hurting friend, show kindness to the lonely, or encourage the downtrodden with their patience. Gal 6:2

When my children are on my last nerve and I feel overcome with irritability, selfishness, anger, or resentment for my present circumstances, may I recognize the root of the problem… which is NOT my children, but my hungry soul needing to rest in You. Just as I become a grouch when I experience physical hunger……

Let my children experience sorrow and deep grief for the wrong things they have done. They will come to You and ask forgiveness, therefore entering Your kingdom by humbling themselves. Evil isn’t present in Your kingdom … may their hearts reside there while still on earth so they may experience Your peace, the peace that…
