Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise … a drive to work hard and may they prosper … ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification. Join my children to Christ’s body by his strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Colossians 2:19

When my children fall into bed after a long productive day I will rejoice rather than pity them for having to work so hard… for the sleep of a laboring man is sweet… and the ability to enjoy the fruit of labor is a gift from God. Ecc 5:12,19

Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Col 1:23…
