Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24
Guide my children along right paths. Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Cowardice asks: Is it safe? Consensus asks: Is it popular? Character asks: Is it right?” Help my children do the right thing, especially when it costs them, when the wrong this is more expedient, or when no one is looking. Ps 23:3
Dear Lord, in the face of my children’s most grievous trouble, remind them to bend down and pray, that nothing is too hard for You. Your word tells my children that You will bend down and listen to them … but first they must submit to Your authority and have faith that You do indeed…
Join my children to Christ’s body by his strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Col 2:19
My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Col 3:13-15
The power of sin is broken in my children’s lives. If they choose to receive it (by walking out their faith) then they get to live in the kingdom of God while on earth rather than the kingdom of Satan. Thank You that my children do not have to live in sickness, poverty, depression, controlled…
