May those who care for my children find rest. Your Word teaches us that the natural path away from depression, lack of perspective, and a sense of hopelessness is to rest our bodies, receive the love being poured out to us by friends, and banish the whispers of fear by replacing them with Your voice…

My children have talent and God requires them to use it. They will not spend precious time strengthening the talents they want rather than the ones they already have. 1 Co 12:11

May my children’s ears be opened to the voice of reason. God will send wisdom through others, especially in the area of vengeance… and if my children withstand the urge to repay evil for evil… God will fight their battles and my children will see victory! 1Sa 25

Give my children spiritual wisdom and understanding so that they will grow in their knowledge of You. Help them see that the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is available to them. Eph 1:17,19-20

Please make Your presence known to my children so they may know and experience Your joy. Don’t let them depend on our world for happiness for if they do their only joy will come from reaction to circumstances… but You can plaster a smile on their faces that will puzzle even the deepest cynic and…

My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and for- give the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Colossians 3:13-15
