Let no one deceive my children with persuasive arguments. Give them complete understanding that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Knit my children together with strong ties to other believers so they will always abide in You. Colossians 2:2-4
Let my children meet the needs of others. Give them abundant resources of all kinds so they can soothe a grieving world. Allow them to bring glory to You through their generous hearts. 2Co 9:11
Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank you for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of you Son! Col 1:11-13
I pray my children will turn to You often throughout their day in praise and thanksgiving for the many many blessings You have given them… their warm beds, the refreshing warmth of the sun, the warmth of my smile, and all the little surprises waiting for them as they live today. Ps 19:13
Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24
When my children feel the favor, benefits, and opportunities that seem too good to be true, as if the stars have lined up and everything is too perfect… I pray they give You the glory.
