Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank You for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of Your Son! Col 1:11-13

Let Your Holy Spirit lead the lives of my children. As they learn to yield to Your spirit, strengthen them to be a bearer of Your love to a broken world. May Your Holy Spirit give them great love for others. Col 1:8

Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience.  Isa 40:1-2

My children will not be hindered by their past mistakes. When thoughts of hurt and betrayal enter their thoughts today, remind my children that You gave Your Son for their forgiveness… so they appreciate Your ultimate act of sacrifice so that they may live a free, peaceful, and joy filled life. My children will learn to be courageous much like they learned to walk. They will see Your outstretched arms and hear Your loving voice saying, “Come, you can do it!” Make them understand that the assurance of Your voice, Your presence is all they need to tread safely into the unknown. Dt 31:6

Praying repetitive empty words blocks my children’s prayers from reaching You. May they talk to You from their hearts! Mt 6:7-8
