When my children experience the majesty and beauty of the natural world, may they remember Christ and know that He is the restorer of their souls … that He is altogether lovely … and their friend!

Song of Songs 5:16
Thank You Lord for loving my children enough to make them miserable in their rebellion … for allowing darkness to follow rebellion … for sometimes we need darkness before we can see the tiny portal of light leading to freedom. Thank You for satisfying my children’s longings and filling their hungry souls … I respect…
Give my children a pure heart. Place in them a desire to study your word and identify all sin lurking in the corners if their life. Let them receive your cleansing so their hearts will be free to obey you. Mt 5:8, Heb 12:1, Jn 15:3, Ps 50:10
My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is You, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank You for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Deuteronomy 31:6
Lord, help my children run with exuberance. Give them endurance by stripping off every weight that slows them down. Teach them to keep their eyes on Jesus and know that they are His joy. Heb 12:1-2
Fix my thoughts on what is true and humble and right. Let me think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. I will worry about nothing and pray about everything. My children will put into practice all they hear from me and see me doing. Philemon 4:8-9
May my children remain practical and stand firm against the enemy using the tools they have worked with all of their lives. Just as You prepared David to battle Goliath with a slingshot and a stone, thank You for preparing my children to face their giants according to their experiences and skill set. Samuel 17:39
