Let my children organize their time and follow through with their plans. In doing so, they won’t be consumed by the busyness of life and the frantic “catch- up” which steals their peace. Give my children the drive to know You intimately, then help them understand it won’t happen overnight. Let my children witness me taking the time and effort to become deeply acquainted with You so that they will have the faith to pursue a relationship with You that is so close that you will walk together…

Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Mt 5:8

My children will be more influenced by the future than the past. What they commit themselves to will determine who they are today and who they will become. Php 3:13

Encourage my children to share each other’s problems and troubles. Help them keep each other on the right path being careful not to fall into the same temptations themselves. Give them Your wisdom so they can gently and humbly help others overcome sin. Gal 6:1-2

Teach my children that Christ has redeemed them from every curse of the law, including sickness and disease … that Jesus bore their sickness for them not with them.
