Lord, help my children see that the temptations that come into their lives are no different from what others experience. You promised to show them a way out so they would not give in; let them see.

Lord, help my children see that the temptations that come into their lives are no different from what others experience. You promised to show them a way out so they would not give in; let them see.
1Corinthians 10:13
Show my children the steps they need to take to express their love to others… love is an action word. Let them begin to spend more time focusing on building relationships than building their toy box. This wisdom will naturally come to them as they are faced with their own mortality… they won’t long for…
Pride is the bitter enemy of my children. Humility is their dear friend. May I humble myself before God so that humility will be mine. As my children witness my actions they will see with their physical eyes my transformation as I am given a humble heart. They will witness the blessing of God’s strength…
I pray my children view their circumstances with You as the focal point and see that their problems are a platform to display Your power to act on their behalf… may they understand this, stand firm in their faith, and NOT let the enemy get the best of them! Mt 14:24-33
I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness, and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand… as I know the way to the cross! Gal 6:1 BG 7-26-08
Make my children confident and courageous. Take their hand and lead them to start something today that they have been putting off rather than waiting for perfect conditions to begin. Take my hand, too! Ecc 11:4; Dt 1:29-30
Give my children one voice. Show them how displeasing it is to You when they withhold their love for each other and squabble. Give them an attitude of Christ Jesus towards each other. Ro 15:5-6
