Let my children meet the needs of others. Give them abundant resources of all kinds so they can soothe a grieving world. Allow them to bring glory to You through their generous hearts. 2Corinthians 9:11

As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ!  1 Co 13:6

Let my children be fire lighters, inspiring those around them to dream big. Reveal to them those phrases they use that tear others down so that they will become effective in lighting the fire of passion throughout their lifetime … let it start today. Jeremiah 20:9

My children will learn to be courageous much like they learned to walk. They will see Your outstretched arms and hear Your loving voice saying, “Come, you can do it!” Make them see that the assurance of Your voice, Your presence is all they need to tread safely into the unknown. Dt 31:6  

I am here to serve You Lord, give my children the wisdom to follow me. Though my hands are shaky and my legs are tired I am committed to your straight path where Your strength resides. Hebrews 12:12
