Give my children spiritual wisdom and understanding so that they will grow in their knowledge of You. Help them see that the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is available to them.

When my children find themselves condemning others, let that be a clue that they are not receiving forgiveness for their own sin. Guilt and condemnation tell my children that their sins are too big for God’s forgiveness. Help them adopt a humble attitude and forgive themselves the way God has. Isa 43:25
Left alone my children are vulnerable and incomplete. Surround them with Christians of all ages who continually motivate them to love Christ better and better. Create among them a spirit of Christian community where it isn’t odd or weird for them to reach out to each other for prayer or spiritual based encouragement. 3Jn 1:1-2
May my children remain practical and stand firm against the enemy using the tools they have worked with all of their lives. Just as You prepared David to battle Goliath with a slingshot and a stone, thank You for preparing my children to face their giants according to their experiences and skill set. Sa 17:39
Let my children organize their time and follow through with their plans. In doing so, they won’t be consumed by the busyness of life and the frantic “catch-up” which steals their peace.
