As my children walk in Your will and obey Your commands, pour out Your spirit upon them and make Your words known to them. Thank You for such a life giving promise. Proverbs 1:23

My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is you, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank you for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Dt 31:6

Let my children live by their spiritual values every day. May these principals be the light that guides them and offers stability and structure to their inner world. When that world is in order, they can navigate their way through anything. Jos 1:7-9

I am here to serve You Lord, give my children the wisdom to follow me. Though my hands are shaky and my legs are tired I am committed to your straight path where Your strength resides. Hebrews 12:12

Somehow show my children (in a way that makes sense to them) that their job as Your child is to trust You… to be happy today even if they are in pain… For You have deprived it of power to harm them and have conquered it for them! John 16:33

My children will not be hindered by their past mistakes. When thoughts of hurt and betrayal enter their thoughts today, remind my children that You gave Your Son for their forgiveness … so they appreciate Your ultimate act of sacrifice so that they may live a free, peaceful, and joy filled life.
