Let the spirit of Christ grow strong in my children, for that is the assurance that they will share in His glory. May Christ’s mighty power mature in them so they can share His glory with others. Col 1:27

When my children complain they become confused when it backfires! May they learn to simply ask for what they need or want from me instead of assuming, demanding or complaining! Philippians 2:14

When my children find themselves obsessing over things in their life rather than making the most out of each moment, may they STOP and know they are displeasing You … and pray for redirection! 2 Timothy 2:16

Give my children the drive to know You intimately, then help them understand it won’t happen overnight. Let my children witness me taking the time and effort to become deeply acquainted with You so that they will have the faith to pursue a relationship with You that is so close that you will walk together…

Place a burning desire in my children’s hearts to read your Word… for every answer to every problem they are facing today can be found in their Bible. Don’t let my children conform to this world but let them be transformed by the renewal of their mind. Give me a heart to be their spiritual blacksmith so that I may use my time with them wisely… molding them to follow You. 1Sa 13:19
