Stop my children from praying for show! Don’t let them become like the hypocrites who love to stand and pray in the churches and street corners so they can be seen by men… for if they do their reward will come from men and not from You. Mt 6:5

My children will learn to be courageous much like they learned to walk. They will see Your outstretched arms and hear Your loving voice saying, “Come, you can do it!” Make them see that the assurance of Your voice, Your presence is all they need to tread safely into the unknown. Dt 31:6

Give my children a heart and mind to work for Your purposes. Show them the plots of the enemy meant to frustrate and halt their progress so they may call on You. May they stand firm in accomplishing all that You have called them to do, even if that means working with one hand and…

Help me take my tired hands and stand firm on my shaky legs. Give me wisdom to mark out a straight path for my feet. Then my children who are following me will not stumble and fall but will become strong.  Hebrews 12:12-13

Take my children’s hand so they will feel the warmth of Yours. They will not seek pleasure from worldly desires that lead to destruction but rather seek experiences that draw them closer to You. They will give and receive only love. Deuteronomy 31:8

I pray my children NEVER ignore the poor… for he who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered. Pr 21:13
