Give my children a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will be intrinsically motivated to obey Your commands. Let them experience the light free feeling that flows from doing the ‘right’ thing so that they crave more and truly begin to understand that obedience is not only the root of character but the foundation…

I pray my children humble themselves and begin to understand their relationship with You. We are Your tools and You are the master craftsman. You give us talents and the will to develop them … You open doors and bring provision … we MUST give all glory to You … or we will fall. Isaiah…

Don’t let my children wait for the perfect conditions to occur before they take steps to reach the visions you have placed in them. May the power of Your Word through their faith in Jesus Christ propel them to take action to begin each new journey …and most importantly, when they are experiencing storms ……

I pray my children learn this pattern: seek You, listen, trust You, then praise You while they wait! Help my children understand that praising You is the KEY to unlocking Your power into their current situation. It is all about faith… and when their faces are long and their spirits are hopeless… their faith suffers…

May Your Word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ that they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! Jas 1:19
