Let my children recognize that the little rainbows in their lives (the small needs met at just the right time) are the signs that You care for them. I will watch for these moments in their lives also and together will worship you in gratitude and love. Ge 9:13-15

Show my children that their job is to obey Your commands and instructions and that Your job is to fight for them and clear the paths You’ve set before them… destroying all roadblocks that are keeping them from entering their place of blessing. You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Pe 3:9, Isa 55:6

Oftentimes my children forget that God’s children aren’t just the people that seem nice or other Christians or the people that seem safe … but ALL the precious people God created. Let my children find ways to express Your love to the world around them … for You reside in every person walking the planet…

Give my children a tender heart… may they feel Your pain in the presence of friends who have closed their ears to Your Word and chosen not to receive or obey Your promptings. May these experiences cause them to renew their faith in Your way. And I ask You to help my children understand that…

Keep my children in front of Your mirror, set their gaze on You. As they begin to see their reflection through Your eyes they will see the actions they need to take in order to come in line with who You want them to become. Remind them as often as needed to feel no shame…
