Build in my children a faithful heart… for their prayers to be answered my children must ask in faith without any doubting… for if they doubt they ought not to expect to receive anything from You! Jn 1:6-8

Give my children the wisdom to see that Your command to love God above all others is about actions. Love is a verb… They must seek Your presence and Your wisdom through bible study, prayer, and good teachers of Your Word (make me one of those!) so they will be led by the Holy Spirit…

Let my children hear the instruction of their father and not reject the teaching of their mother. Pr 1:8

Let Your Holy Spirit lead the lives of my children. As they learn to yield to Your spirit, strengthen them to be a bearer of Your love to a broken world. May Your Holy Spirit give them great love for others. Col 1:8  

Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12

Give my children the kind of faith that will give them the patience to wait for everything good that they want. Let them delight in and celebrate You so that You will give them the desires of their heart. Ps 37:4,7 I confess the word of God dwells in me. I possess the grace of…
