Don’t let my children be discouraged by correction. Remind them that You discipline those You love, and punish those You accept as your children. Heb 12:5-6

Show my children that in every story of victory there are chapters of defeat. Teach them to estimate difficulty NOT in the light of their own resources but of Yours. Give them a spirit of adventure and confidence so they won’t be hindered by the traps of the enemy. 1 Jn 4:4

When my children feel trapped and alone along the path You set before them, tell them to fear not and stand firm, confident and undismayed. You promised to fight for them so they will not lose their peace as they rest in the comfort of Your embrace… like a small child in his father’s arms. Exodus…

Teach my children to learn to hear and understand Your voice. Help them identify, confess, and receive forgiveness for any sin that is blocking Your communication with them. Open their hearts so they may walk in divine authority. John 15:3

Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in my children’s hearts and make them wise. They will use His words to teach and council each other and sing to God with thankful hearts. Col 3:16 I confess the word of God dwells in me. I possess the grace of God. Col 3:16

Send a mentor into each of my children’s lives, someone who will learn their strengths and encourage them to grow in the direction of Your Son! Thank you for letting me shepherd my flock… and thank you for sending help! Php 3:17
