May my children STOP trying to humanize God. Yes, He loves those we perceive as bad… as much as those we perceive as good. We tend to love people based on their actions… God loves them based on who He is! Ps 107:15-20

My children’s life is like a pocket of coins. Rather than polishing the copper coins of their past in hopes of making them more valuable, I pray they will pick up the shiny gold coins of their future and use these God-given strengths to bring value to their lives. 1Timothy 4:14

Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible … but where scripture is clear … there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exceptions. Deuteronomy 29:29 

Gift my children with your Holy Spirit, giving them vision, inspiring them with creative ideas, introducing them to the right people, and empowering them to do the job. Fill them completely with faith and the love of Jesus Christ. Have mercy on them because of their sin and use them as examples to other sinners…

Blaze your promises on my children’s hearts. As they see Your promises come to fruition their trust in You will become unshakable. May I stand on Your promises as I face today’s struggles and may I display the fruits of Your Spirit;  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  As I do,…

May Your word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! Jas 1:19
