Make my children leaders. Help them understand that the true measure of a leader isn’t getting people to work nor getting them to work hard… it is about getting them to work together.

Make my children leaders. Help them understand that the true measure of a leader isn’t getting people to work nor getting them to work hard… it is about getting them to work together.
1Sa 7:12 Nu 11:14, Ne 4:6
I pray my children stand firm and NEVER give in to a coldness of heart. May they never allow the enemy to talk them into protecting themselves relationally by shutting their hearts up in a steel box. Mt 24:12
Let my children be grateful. Teach them the ‘reinforcement principle’… they get more of what they acknowledge… so that they begin to routinely thank the ones they love for even the smallest favor. They already practice common courtesy when they are in public, thanking coaches, the lunch lady, the checkout clerks… let them bring that…
I pray my children’s lives become a conduit to bring Your love and purpose to fruition in the lives of those around them. Give me the wisdom to cleverly get Your Word into them until the day they begin to crave time alone with you… and that time will come! Isa 55:10-11
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect). Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Psalms 3:1-8
Let my children receive nourishment from Christ by meditating on the Word so that all their needs will be satisfied and their lives will abound with the fruit of His works! Ps 104:3
If my children don’t have peace, reveal to them the root. If the cause is their own sin may they confess it today, stop the sinful behavior, and most importantly RECEIVE forgiveness so Your joy may come to them! 2Sa 11:27, 1 Jn 1:9
