Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12  

Sins are to my children’s lives as weeds are to the garden. They are going to pop up but we must diligently be on the watch and eradicate them from our lives before they take over. If not, my children’s lives will not produce the fruit God intended where he planted their seeds. Ro 6:12

Place a burning desire in my children’s hearts to read Your Word… for every answer to every problem they are facing today can be found in their Bible. May my children look to God alone for direction and not become dependent on the world to define who they will become. 1Samuel 8:19-20

My children will merrily traverse the path You have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed. Jas 1:12

Show my children that they are Your masterpiece… that You created them anew in Christ Jesus so that they can do the good things You planned for them long ago. Eph 2:10
