Let me experience much joy and comfort from my children’s love, specifically their love for others. This kindness so often refreshes the hearts of God’s people. They worship You in serving others and behave as true disciples of Christ.  Philemon 1:7

My children have a hope and a future. Help them to focus on that, not the past. Use their pain to show them how to help bring healing to others … that it is the broken who become masters at mending. Isaiah 43:18-19

Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions. Help my children grasp that Your promises apply only under covenant relationship. Let them understand that You never break Your promises… but if my children choose to break covenant with You by living in unrepentant disobedience… they have broken the covenant and ultimately their conduit in receiving Your promises. 1 Ch 28:9

If my children don’t have peace, reveal to them the root. If the cause is their own sin may they confess it today, stop the sinful behavior, and most importantly RECEIVE forgiveness so Your joy may come to them! 2 Sam 11:27, 1 John 1:9
