Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank you for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of you Son! Col 1:11-13

Make my children confident and courageous. Take their hand and lead them to start something today that they have been putting off rather than waiting for perfect conditions to begin. Take my hand, too! Ecc 11:4; Dt 1:29-30

Strengthen my children, encourage their faith, and keep them from being disturbed by the troubles they go through. 1Thessalonians 3:2-3

Faith enables my children to receive what God has already done. He has already made my children healthy, wealthy and wise… but they must believe it to receive it. Help my children see the truth, that under God’s protection and Christ’s blood, they do not have to live under guilt or condemnation. In fact, if they do, they are essentially calling God a liar… for all the sin’s they will commit while on earth have already been forgiven… from the womb to the tomb!…

You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Peter 3:9, Isaiah 55:6
