Give my children x-ray vision… to be able to spot the goodness in every situation. Just for today, I pray my children make a conscious effort to only see the good in every person and every moment. May my children recognize who they are … clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless … as well as bless others. Isaiah 64:8

Let my children experience sorrow and deep grief for the wrong things they have done. They will come to You and ask forgiveness, therefore entering Your kingdom by humbling themselves. Evil isn’t present in Your kingdom… may their hearts reside there while still on earth so they may experience Your peace, the peace that passes…

Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise … a drive to work hard and may they prosper … ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification.
