Lord, help my children run with exuberance. Give them endurance by stripping off every weight that slows them down. Teach them to keep their eye on Jesus and that they are His joy. Heb 12:1-2

Prayer is more than a string of words or a list of requests; it is the act of intimacy with God. Coming into intimacy with You is the principal purpose of prayer. Let my children experience Your amazing presence through their prayers so they will know the power of keeping those lines of communication open….

Dear Lord, I know that you have the power to do anything I ask…and when I don’t, please let me acknowledge my lack of faith so You can give me that too! Today, my children will speak promise and success over their situation (and they always have some situation!). They will not rehearse the curse…

Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions. In the midst of my children’s pain, let them find someone who is hurting and offer them help and hope. In doing so they will please God and possibly save a life! Lk 23:39-43, Ac 7:59-60
