My children will acknowledge the personal corruptions present in their hearts and give those to You, but they will not use them as a crutch to justify their shortcomings. Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise… a drive to work hard and may they prosper… ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoarding it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification. Keep my children from busying themselves with other people’s affairs rather than doing their own work. I will correct them as needed without becoming weary or losing heart in doing right. I will be consistent. 1Th 3:11-13
