Give my children a pure heart. Place in them a desire to study Your word and identify all sin lurking in the corners of their life. Let them receive Your cleansing so their hearts will be free to obey You. Mt 5:8, Heb 12:1, Jn 15:3, Ps 50:10
Left alone my children are vulnerable and incomplete. Surround them with Christians of all ages who continually motivate them to love Christ better and better. Keep my children from jumping to false conclusions. When they see each other seemingly displeasing You, let them take the time to ask for each other’s explanation. Most likely, all is well, as the Israelites discovered of their brethren in the matter of the Lord’s alter near the Jordan. Joshua 22
Teach my children to live in Your will by giving them the resources they need minute by minute as they plunge into their unique adventures with You. My children will learn to be courageous much like they learned to walk. They will see Your outstretched arms and hear Your loving voice saying, “Come, you can do it!” Make them see that the assurance of Your voice, Your presence is all they need to tread safely into the unknown. Dt 31:6
May my children walk in all that You hold for them. May their lives transform to be a place of refuge and protection from a broken world. The world is broken but my children are NOT because they are the redeemed of the Lord… saved by the one and only source of salvation… Jesus Christ!…
