All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God…

Give my children a new heart and put a new spirit into them. May their hearts be soft and able to feel the exquisite pain of the piercing of Your arrows… so that their hearts are no longer hardened against the piercing of Your word and the teachings of our Master. Eze 36:26

Give my children spiritual wisdom and understanding so that they will grow in their knowledge of You. Help them see that the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is available to them. Eph 1:17,19-20

Let my children hear the instruction of their father and not reject the teaching of their mother. Proverbs 1:8

Help me take my tired hands and stand firm on my shaky legs. Give me wisdom to mark out a straight path for my feet. Then my children who are following me will not stumble and fall but will become strong. Hebrews 12:12-13

Of course my children will sin, that is not the point. May they freely admit their sin so they will be forgiven and continuously cleansed from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9
