Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Col 1:2

I pray my children recognize that their resources are all from You. May they seek Your will and then believe You. I’m quite sure You are asking them to do far more than they believe they are capable of achieving… and I am even more certain the resources You have given them are far greater…

You know what You are doing. You have it all planned out. Plans to take care of my children, not abandon them. Plans to give them the future they hope for. When they call on You, when they come and pray to You, You will listen. When they come looking for You, You’ll find them….

Give my children the wisdom of Joseph. To know that God is in control of our lives at all times, even in long times of trouble. May they grow in this time so they will be prepared to accomplish God’s will when the pieces fall into place. And they will! Ge 45:8  

Give my children the wisdom to see that Your command to love God above all others is about actions. Love is a verb … They must seek Your presence and Your wisdom through bible study, prayer, and good teachers of Your Word (make me one of those!) so they will be led by the Holy…

Blaze your promises on my children’s hearts. As they see Your promises come to fruition their trust in You will become unshakable. May I stand on Your promises as I face today’s struggles and may I display the fruits of Your Spirit;  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  As I do,…
