As my children mature, give them the right amount of Your wisdom at just the right time. May they steadily grow in Your Word so they don’t become overwhelmed and stumble. Your promises are great… but we must each learn the doors we must walk through in order to receive them. Ps 112:1  

Focus my children. Reveal to them the purpose You have placed in their hearts so they don’t waste time and energy chasing someone else’s dream. Pr 4:27

Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my children’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Th 3:12-13

Let my children run in stride with those who (like them) are committed to lives of purity. Let them draw on examples of commitment to the Lord, like Eric Lidell (Chariots of Fire) and my life as encouragement to pursue their faith and finish their race. 2Timothy 2:22

Thank you Lord for placing remarkable people round my children’s table. May they draw from the spirits of those living from that deep place of fire within… so that the souls of my children catch fire, burn brightly, and bring light to our broken world.
