May my children wake up today and see only two people groups, those in Christ Jesus and those not. I pray they lavish love on both groups of people.  Gal 3:28

Fill my children with joy by revealing their shortcomings. Do not let them erect defenses against their own inadequacies and try to hide their faults from themselves and others. Let them embrace justified criticism for what it is… encouragement towards spiritual growth. Pr 15:5

God gives different missions to different people, and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ!  1Co 13:6

I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness, and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand… as I know the way to the cross! Gal 6:1 BG 7-26-08
