Join my children to Christ’s body by his strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Colossians 2:19
I pray my children humble themselves before You rather than forcing You to humble them. May my children find a quiet place to humble themselves before You today so that the boulders of their pride roll off their road to freedom which are blocking their spirits and lives from receiving all that You have planned…
Let my children savor the fruits of their own industry. Give them a spirit of independence so they taste the exquisite reward of freedom … then let them readily share the overflowing abundance of their hearts and their treasure … for when they truly love others my children will begin to see God’s hand working…
May my children grow in the footsteps of Christ and become strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and may the grace of God be upon them. Lk 2:40
In the midst of my children’s pain, let them find someone who is hurting and offer them help and hope. In doing so they will please God and possibly save a life! Lk 23:39-43, Ac 7:59-60
