Praying repetitive empty words blocks my children’s prayers from reaching You. May they talk to You from their hearts! Mt 6:7-8

We are commanded by Jesus Christ not to worry. Most of the trouble my children fear will never happen… worry is simply Satan’s tool to steal their day… and eventually their life! Mt 6:25

Teach my children not to waste their time and energy on things that cannot be changed. Help them to look forward and press on. Remind them that You have plans for them and they are good. Do not let my children value what is worthy by the measure of this world. They will not fear displeasing their peers and being left out of certain circles, rather, they will develop a wholesome dread of displeasing You. Is 8:12-13  

Give my children a tender heart … may they feel Your pain in the presence of friends who have closed their ears to Your Word and chosen not to receive or obey Your promptings. May these experiences cause them to renew their faith in Your way. And I ask You to help my children understand…

My children will not become dependent on earthly vices. They will see me live by every word and expression of God and know You are the path to a satisfactory life… not donuts or Red Bull.  Lk 4:4
