Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up. My children will know my criticism is for their benefit and not feel the sting but only the comfort of my hand leading them in the way of God. Ephesians 4:29

I will not fear for the Lord promises to deliver my children out of every trouble. He will give them a vision of victory over the enemy… I pray they embrace these promises and live free… free to run, free to dance, free to live for You! Ps 54:7

Thank You for giving my children one heart and one way. Thank You for Your everlasting covenant with them, that You will not turn away from following them to do them good, and You will not depart from them! Jeremiah 32:38 

My children’s present struggle may be over what You want to do through them! When the world is saying no but something deep within my children stands firm, let them see that this is You… and if they walk it out… my children will achieve their God given destiny. Jn 7:38, Php 2:13

Show my children that keeping score is a sign of immaturity. Show them that forgiveness is defined by their actions … and that if they truly forgive someone who offended or hurt them, their actions towards that person will communicate that fact. Rather than withdraw their spirit and retreat into a protective shell around those…

Thank you for giving me Your peace. If I become wrought up or anxious about anything today, remind me that I am wasting treasure. Show me that it is as silly as swimming in a crystal clean river and complaining of thirst. Help me teach this to my children. Jn 14:7
